Chobe Exploring the Park on 4×4 game drives and boat cruises on the Chobe River offer fantastic chances of finding a great range of animals. Famed for its record-breaking Elephant population, you are likely to find predators, possibly even the African Wild Dog. Staying in the only lodge permanently located within the Park and directly overlooking the Chobe River, erstwhile visitors include well-known celebrities and royalty.
The Linyanti Private Reserve The exceptionally stylish tented camp will transport you to a bygone era where sumptuous décor is obligatory in this tranquil haven. Resident lions, herds of Buffalo are just some of the creatures to be found in this remote and discreet area of the Greater Okavango.
The Okavango Delta Guided 4×4 game drives and mokoro, boating and fishing activities as water levels permit offer the most comprehensive way to explore the Jewel of the Kalahari. Papyrus channels, open floodplains, termite mound islands and towering forest provide refuge to a great number of animals and birds including predators and plains game. In permanent swamps, the shy and elusive Sitatunga antelope occur. A scenic helicopter flight is highly recommended.
Makgadikgadi Salt Pans This extraordinary ecosystem is simply unmissable. Guided 4×4 game drives are just one of the many ways this area can be explored. Exciting quad bike activities, horse-riding, interpretive walks with the San Bushmen and stargazing are not to be missed. Wildlife-wise, a highlight is the Meerkat interaction, though a surprising number of animals and birds survive this harsh climate including the Brown Hyena, Bat-Eared Fox and Black-Maned Kalahari Lion.
Private Mozambican Island Taking time to yourself, with no schedule to abide by, enjoy relaxing on your private verandah, soaking up the azure blue ocean colours, watching dolphins and whales at play. For the more active, snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing and other sports are at your disposal.
